Inland Empire crash reports: city police, a sheriff contract, or CHP
Three of the seven Inland Empire cities on this page have no city-run police force. They contract with a county sheriff, and that changes where you ask for the report.
Fontana, Ontario, Riverside and San Bernardino run their own police departments, so ask that department. Rancho Cucamonga and Victorville contract with the San Bernardino County Sheriff, whose Records Division releases reports online, in person or by mail. San Bernardino County Sheriff: Public records Temecula contracts with the Riverside County Sheriff; its Southwest Station tells you by phone when a report is ready. On interstates, state highways and unincorporated roads, the report is CHP's.
